Source of Resumes in database

Candidate/Resume database is nothing but a repository of candidate information along with associated information. A candidate resume can be of a word, htm, text or a PDF file format and it can be sourced from Job Portals, candidates can submit their resume to the Job Postings/Advertisements or on your career page. You can get referrals and the resume might end up in your email or you get the resume file and save it to your drive on your computer.

Whatever the source and whatever the format be, Conrep ATS will extract the content in the resume file to create a profile by parsing the resume file.

This process of extracting and analyzing data from a resume file and creating a profile is called PARSING.

We list all candidates data as a report after parsing, you can access the same from Candidates→ Candidate List→Search View/Tabular List

How to add a resume in to the database

Adding a resume to the database can be a manual upload, resume data and attachment getting added to the database via API of Job Portal [ Dice, Monster, Career Builder & Techfetch ], POP3 Parsing where email with resume file attachment would be automatically extracted and uploaded to the database. Resume upload via a Mass mail APPLY Link, Apply via Job Postings/Career Page & finally uploading the resume using OL plugins where in we have a resume in the email as an Attachment.
